THE TRAINING COURSE:

WHERE CAN I DO THE TRAINING?

Radix Training is available nationally in Australia and in North America. The training outline presented on this website is based on the current Australian training program. The current USA training program is fundamentally the same but may have some differences in both structure and format. The program for both countries can vary from year to year and for more specific details or to clarify what is being offered for the year of your application it is best to contact the Director of Training for your country. See CONTACT.

Training in Australia

In Australia, the required eight training workshops are held in Melbourne unless there are six or more trainees resident in another state. Usually these workshops are residential and the current venue is approximately an hour and a half from the centre of the city.

The rest of the course can be managed with distance education. Each month trainees receive online reading material, mp3’s and assignments. The establishment of a clinical practice group can also occur in your state of residence. The structure for ongoing monthly supervision of this practice and the In Situ supervision is individually negotiated at the commencement of the course.

Personal work in the programme can be completed with any Certified Radix practitioner who is currently licensed with the Australian Radix Body Psychotherapy Association (A.R.B.P.A). A list of current licensed practitioners in Australia is made available at the application interview. If there is not a Certified Radix practitioner resident in your state holding a Current Practising Certificate this will involve some extra planning and travel. However trainees in the past have managed this.
When does training commence in Australia?
The training course usually commences in November for Year One and in March for Year Two. For a course to commence there needs to be a minimum of four trainees.
The closing date for Applications is the 1st August for the year for which you are applying.

Training in North America
In the USA, the required eight training workshops are held primarily in Albuquerque, New Mexico, although this varies depending on where trainees are located. The workshops may or may not be residential.
As for the Australian based course, the rest of the course can be managed with distance education. Each month trainees receive online reading material, mp3’s and assignments. The establishment of a clinical practice group will most likely occur in your state of residence. The structure for ongoing monthly supervision of this practice and the directly observed supervision is individually negotiated at the beginning of the course.

Personal work in the program can be completed with any Certified Radix practitioner who is currently licensed with the Radix Institute, USA. If there is not a Certified Radix Practitioner practicing near you this will involve some extra planning and travel. However trainees in the past have managed this.
English speaking trainees from Canada usually join the USA program. Training is also available in Quebec for native French-speaking trainees.
When does training commence in North America?
The training course usually commences in November for Year One and in March for Year Two. For a course to commence there needs to be a minimum of four trainees.

The deadline for applications is August 1st for the year for which you are applying.
